Milligram Arabic explores a sans-serif counterpart to modernist grotesques through the lens of Naskh scripts. It prioritizes overall texture and readability over rigid shape-to-shape equivalence, simplifying contrast and terminals while preserving Naskh rhythm and proportions. Developed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini with the help of Jordanian type designer Murad Alshawareb, it pairs respectfully with the Latin Milligram: warm, contemporary, and consistent in voice. The result is a bilingual system that feels designed together rather than merely matched.
