Sanat Typeface is a heavyweight geometric typeface. Its bold letterforms were widely used in shop signs and industrial logotypes. For this reason, despite its modern design, Sanat carries a nostalgic feel. The designer of this typeface, Majid Shoaraei Nejati, says: "The initial idea for this font came from designing several industrial logotypes. The need for a typeface with a heavy weight and thick strokes to create words suited to an industrial atmosphere was one of the first steps in shaping this project."
