Ali Moshref

Ali Moshref Aladlan is a Syrian calligrapher and type designer based in Dubai, UAE. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, as well as a postgraduate qualification and a diploma in AI & ML. His work is particularly influenced by the Baghdadi school of calligraphy and combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design and technology. Ali has participated in calligraphy competitions, explored computational approaches to Arabic calligraphy, and digitized several classical Arabic typefaces.
