Lara Captan

She is an independent type designer & typographer based in Amsterdam. Since 2005, she has been analysing the structures, aesthetics and historical transformations of the Arabic script with the aim of mechanising the script from its essence. She currently creates Arabic typefaces mainly in DecoType’s ACE technology.
