A&O Arabic

A&O Arabic is a custom design for a legal consultancy. It is a display modern solution designed to accompany a Latin typeface for small caps designed by Alberto Romanos from Branding with Type. The proportions of the Arabic character set were studied to align consistently with the Latin yet keep the natural qualities of the Arabic script. The design of the glyphs with large counters makes for a legible typeface in small sizes. The overall light texture is due to the absence of contrast in stroke and subtle details in drawing. Conceptually, it reflects the ethos and brand values of the legal group.
